Post Testing
Labelling
Following the testing
process, a label is applied to the appliance with the asset
number, test status (pass or fail), company / persons that
conducted the test and the recommended retest dates
These labels are placed
in a convenient location on the appliance. The labels are
designed to be both durable and clearly visible.
Failed Items
If an appliance fails
the tests and is deemed to be unsuitable for use then it is
clearly marked with a fail label and is removed from use.
Any items found to be faulty are reported to the responsible
person.
Record keeping
EURO PAT use the latest
in Seaward software that enables the testing information to
be downloaded to a PC / laptop and then analysed and stored.
To demonstrate a long
term testing programme then it is recommended that the records
are kept for a minimum period of 5 years and (ideally up to
10 years)
EURO PAT stores all of
the records in a secure electronic database and keeps customer
